Asian Paints Royale Play Dune collection consists of a water-based top coat finish with metallic pigments, available in a Silver or Gold base. The effect achieved with this product are inspired from sub-saharan themes, deserts and sand dunes of Africa. These effects are perfectly suitable for decoration of interior walls in classical and modern environments to provide subtle sophisticated finishes. Dune is an odourless and completely non-toxic paint.

Usage Instructions

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: –

1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.

2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 8-STEPS: –

Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 2 – Priming the surface with Decoprime Cement Primer (ST/WT) with dilution using MTO in the ratio of 8% to 10% for Decoprime Cement Primer-ST and dilution with water up to 80% to 100% in the case of Decoprime Cement Primer-WT. Re-coating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 3 – This step involves application of Acrylic Wall Putty with dilution as per the requirement. Recoating period is 4-6 hours.

Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 5 – Priming the surface with Decoprime Cement Primer (ST/WT) with dilution using MTO in the ratio of 8% to 10% for Decoprime Cement Primer-ST and dilution with water up to 80% to 100% in the case of Decoprime Cement Primer-WT. Re-coating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320 and wipe clean.

Step 7 – BaseCoat – This step involves application of 2-coats of Premium Emulsion at an interval of 3-4 hours between coats. It can be
diluted with water up to 40%-45% for application using Brush. For Roller application, it can be diluted with water up to 65% to 70%.

Step 8 – TopCoat – This step involves application of 2-coats of Royale Play Dune at an interval of 8-10 hours between coats by Brush/Roller. It can be applied as such or can be diluted with water up to 5%, only if required.

DRYING TIME – Surface Drying Time is 8 to 10 hours between coats.

COVERAGE – 40 – 60 sq.ft/litre/1-coat.

TOOLS – Brush, Roller. Spray, Putty Knife, Sanding Paper 180 , Sanding Paper 320.
