Description

Asian Paints Royale Play Stucco is a lime based plaster using which various finishes inspired from marble
and other stone finishes are created. It is a lime based plaster with a high sheen and smooth finish.

Product Benefits: –

Special Effects – Five effects like marble, cobbled, slate, igneous and quartz are created using a variety of tools on Asian Paints Royale Play Stucco special effects paint.
Easy Application – This product has been specially formulated such that it is easy to apply, allows the tools to move smoothly without much effort, retaining the pattern left by the tool. Depending on the amount and time of buffing it is possible to obtain egg-shell to glossy finishes.
Sheen – It has a high sheen and smooth finish.
Lime based plaster, environment friendly – Asian Paints Royale Play- Stucco Marble Finish is a lime based plaster for interior application. It is a stiff-paint, having pleasant odour, non- toxic, non-flammable and fully respects people’s health and environment.

Usage Instructions

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: –

1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.

2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 11-STEPS: –

Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 2 – Priming the surface with Decoprime Cement Primer (ST/WT) with dilution using MTO in the ratio of 8% to 10% for Decoprime Cement Primer-ST using Brush/Roller and dilution with water up to 80% to 100% in the case of Decoprime Cement Primer-WT. Re-coating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 3 – This step involves application of Acrylic Wall Putty with dilution with water as per the requirement. Recoating period is 4-6 hours.

Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 5 – Priming the surface with Decoprime Cement Primer (ST/WT) with dilution using MTO in the ratio of 8% to 10% for Decoprime Cement Primer-ST using Brush/Roller and dilution with water up to 80% to 100% in the case of Decoprime Cement Primer-WT. Re-coating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320 and wipe clean.

Step 7 – This step involves application of 1st coat of Royale Play Stucco using Trowel/Putty Knife without dilution. Drying time is 6-8 hours.

Step 8 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 9 – This step involves application of 2nd coat of Royale Play Stucco using Trowel/Scrapper. It can be applied as such or can be diluted with water up to 2% to 5%, if required. Drying time is 2-3 hours.

Step 10 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320/400 and wipe clean.

Step 11 – This step involves application of 2nd coat of Royale Play Stucco using Trowel/Scrapper. It can be applied as such or can be diluted with water up to 2% to 5%, if required. Drying time is 30 minutes.

DRYING TIME – Surface Drying Time for 1st coat – 8 to 10 hours; 2nd coat – 2 to 3 hours; 3rd coat – 30 min.

COVERAGE – 18 – 20 sq.ft/kg/1-coat

TOOLS – Brush / Roller / Spray, Putty Knife, Trowel, Scrapper, Sanding Paper 180, 320/400.
