Key Points:-
Smoothest Matt Finish: Royale Matt gives a dead matt finish while keeping the smoothness of a Royale finish intact.
Burnish resistance: This paint prevents walls from developing patches resulting out of constant rubbing or cleaning the surface.
Excellent Dirt Pick-Up Resistance: DPUR technology makes Royale Matt the most dirt resistance paint amongst all interior emulsions. The walls will look new for a longer period of time due to much less dirt pick-up on the painted surface.
Teflon® Surface Protector: Teflon protects your walls against tough stains, increases durability and reinforces the strength of the paint film. The toughest household stains like turmeric and ink are reduced to a large extent whereas water-based stains such as tea, coffee, etc. are completely removed.
Anti-bacterial and Anti-fungal shield: Royale Matt emuslion paint prevents fungal growth on walls. It also offers a unique anti-bacterial shield to protect the walls from bacteria growth that damages the wall.
Washability: Washability is best in the interior class of paints.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:-
1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.
2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 7-STEPS:-
Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.
Step 2 – Apply Royale Wall Basecoat with water dilution upto 50% to 60%. Re-coating period is 4-6 hours.
Step 3 – This step involves application of Acrylic Wall Putty with dilution as per the requirement. Recoating period is 4- 6 hours.
Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.
Step 5 – Again apply Royale Wall Basecoat with water dilution upto 50% to 60%. Re-coating period is 4-6 hours.
Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320 and wipe clean.
Step 7 – This step involves application of 2-coats of Royale Matt Emulsion at an interval of 4 hours between coats. It can be diluted with water upto 40%-50% for application using Roller. Leave it to dry for 4 hours after the final coat.
DRYING TIME – Surface Drying Time is 30 minutes; Hard Drying Time is 4 hours.
COVERAGE – 140 – 160 sq.ft/litre/2-coats.
TOOLS – Brush / Roller / Spray, Putty Knife, Sanding Paper 180 and 320.
PRECAUTIONS :-
*Do not apply when ambient temperature is less than 10°C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hrs of application.
*Do not over-thin or over-extend the brush.
*Tint using Asian Paints machine colourants only.
*Stir well and strain before use.
*Tinted paints need thorough shaking immediately after tinter addition as well as before use.
