Description

Asian Paints Apex Createx – Scratch Finish is a textured finish comprising of high quality exterior durable acrylic modified resin with special quality dolomite texturizing sands which is designed as intermediate coating. Its unique
textured pattern has a distinctive appeal which can be used for interior and exterior surface.

Available in 36 lively colors this texture provides a high-performance coating for roof tiles, Kerala bricks, and non-porous baked clay tiles. It provides high washability, thus helps to keep the tiles look rich and vibrant for a long time.

Product Benefits :-

It hides surface undulations and fine cracks.
Resists fungus and algal growth, when applied as a system with the recommended top coat.
It releases trapped moisture both from paint surface as well as the substrate.
It has excellent UV resistance and adhesion.
The tough textured finish lasts for long and ensures low maintenance.
It increases the life of the plaster by protecting it from wind driven rain.

Usage Instructions

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: –

1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.

2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 4-STEPS: –

Step 1 (OPTIONAL) – This step involves application of TruCare Wall Putty in paste form by diluting with water as per
the requirement. Recoating period is 4 hours.

Step 2 – Priming the surface with TruCare Exterior Wall Primer by diluting with water up to 90% to 110% in case of application with Brush/Roller. For Spray application, the dilution with water can be upto 40% – 45%. Re-coating period is 4 hours.

Step 3 – This step involves application of 1-coat of Apex Createx – Scratch Finish using Trowel. Dilution is not recommended. Drying time is 12 to 16 hours.

Step 4- This step involves application of 2-coats of Apex Ultima/Apex at an interval of 4-6 hours between coats. It can be diluted with water up to a maximum of 40% for application using Brush/Roller/Spray.

DRYING TIME – Surface Drying Time is 30 to 60 minutes.

COVERAGE – Crosstex Variant – 2.48 to 2.91 sq.ft/kg/1-coat and for White Variant – 2.91 to 3.98 sq.ft/kg/1-coat

TOOLS – Brush / Roller / Spray/ Trowel.

Note: –

HORIZONTAL SURFACES LIKE TOP OF WINDOWS, LEDGES SHOULD BE PAINTED WITH 3 COATS OF APEX ULTIMA FOR GREATER PROTECTION.

APPLICATION OF PRIMER IS MANDATORY ONLY FOR RE-PAINTING SURFACES.
