Special Effects – Different types of special effects such as crinkle, dapple, weaving, canvas, spatula, colorwash, ragging, sponging, combing, brushing can be created using a variety of tools on Asian Paints Royale Play Metallics special effects paint.
Easy Application – Specially formulated such that it is easy to apply, allows the tools to move smoothly, retaining the pattern left by the tool. It provides greater open time, and provides a Metallic lustre that lends elegance and style to a surface,
Environment Friendly – It’s a 100% acrylic emulsion paint for interior application. It will not run or sag on vertical surfaces. It is abrasion resistant, translucent, odourless, non-toxic, non-flammable and fully respects people’s health and environment.
Multiple Shades – It is currently available in more than 120 shades.

Usage Instructions

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: –

1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.

2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 7-STEPS: –

Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 2 – Priming the surface with Decoprime Wall Primer with dilution by MTO/Water in the ratio of 8% to 10% for Brush application and dilution with MTO/Water in the ratio of 13% to 15% for Spray application. Re-coating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 3 – This step involves application of Acrylic Wall Putty with dilution as per the requirement. Recoating period is 4-6 hours.

Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 5 – Priming the surface with Decoprime Wall Primer with dilution by MTO/Water in the ratio of 8% to 10% for Brush application and dilution with MTO/Water in the ratio of 13% to 15% for Spray application. Re-coating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 7 – This step involves application of 2-coats of Royale Luxury Emulsion as a Base Coat at an interval of 3-4 hours between coats. It can be diluted with water up to 40-45% for application using Brush. For Spray application, it can be diluted with water up to 65%-70%.

Step 8 – This step involves application of 1-coat of Royale Play Metallics as a Top Coat. It can be applied as such or can be diluted with water up to 10%, if required, for application using Special Effects Tool.

DRYING TIME – Drying Time is 16 to 20 hours.

COVERAGE – 100 – 175 sq. ft/litre/1-coat.

TOOLS – Brush / Roller / Spray, Putty Knife, Sanding Paper 180,Sprcial Effects Tool.
