Usage Instructions

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:-

1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.

2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 7-STEPS:-

Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 2 – Apply Royale Wall Basecoat diluted with 50% – 60% with water on the wall with Brush/Roller and wait for 4 – 6 hours for drying, to recoat.

Step 3 – This step involves application of Acrylic Wall Putty with dilution as per the requirement. Recoating period is 4-6 hours.

Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 5 – Apply second coat of Royale Wall Basecoat diluted with 50% – 60% with water on the wall with Brush/Roller and wait for 4 – 6 hours for drying, to recoat.

Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320 and wipe clean.

Step 7 – This step involves application of 2-coats of Royale Atmos at an interval of 3-4 hours between coats. It can be diluted with water upto 40% – 50% for application using Brush/Roller. For application with Felt Roller, it can be diluted with water upto 24% – 40%.

DRYING TIME – Surface Drying Time is 30 minutes; Hard Drying Time is 4 hours.

COVERAGE – 140 – 160 sq.ft/litre/2-coats.

TOOLS – Brush / Roller / Spray, Putty Knife, Sanding Paper 180 and 320.

PRECAUTIONS:-

*Do not apply when ambient temperature is less than 10°C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hrs of application.

*Do not over-thin or over-extend the brush.

*Tint using Asian Paints machine colourants only.

*Stir well and strain before use.

*Tinted paints need thorough shaking immediately after tinter addition as well as before use.
