APPLICATION PROCEDURE: –

1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.

2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 7-STEPS: –

Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 2 – Prime the surface with YELLOW METAL PRIMER (ALUMINIUM/GI) / METAL PRIMER (FERROUS METAL) / DECOPRIME ST (MASONRY) / WOOD PRIMER (WOOD) as per the chosen substrate with dilution using MTO in the ratio of 4% to 10% for application by Brush and dilution with MTO up to 12% to 15% in the case of Spray application. Re-coating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 3 – This step involves application of KNIFING PASTE FILLER (METAL / WOOD) OR WALL PUTTY (MASONRY) to the substrate using Putty Knife with dilution as per the requirement with water or MTO. Recoating period is 4-6 hours.

Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 5 – Prime the surface with YELLOW METAL PRIMER (ALUMINIUM/GI) / METAL PRIMER (FERROUS METAL) / DECOPRIME ST (MASONRY) / WOOD PRIMER (WOOD) as per the chosen substrate with dilution using MTO in the ratio of 4% to 10% for application by Brush and dilution with MTO up to 12% to 15% in the case of Spray application. Re-coating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320 and wipe clean.

Step 7 – This step involves application of 2-coats of Apcolite Premium Gloss Enamel at an interval of 6-8 hours between coats. It can be diluted with MTO up to 8% – 10% for application using Brush. For Spray application, it can be diluted with MTO up to 15% – 20%.

DRYING TIME – Surface Drying Time is 3 hours.

COVERAGE – 95 – 110 sq. ft/litre/2-coats.

TOOLS – Brush / Spray, Putty Knife, Sanding Paper 180 and 320.
