during painting.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:-
1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.
2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 7-STEPS:-
Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.
Step 2 – Apply Royale Wall Basecoat diluted with water upto 50% – 60% with Brush/Roller and wait for 6 – 8 hours to dry, for recoating.
Step 3 – This step involves application of Acrylic Wall Putty with dilution as per the requirement. Recoating period is 4-6 hours.
Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.
Step 5 – FOR DANA PATTERN – UNDERCOAT APPLICATION:Â Mix Decoprime Wall Primer (ST) and Premium Gloss/Gattu/Utsav Enamel White in a 1:1 ratio by volume. Apply with brush and allow it to dry for 6-8 hours. Sand lightly with Sand Paper 40.
STEP 5 – FOR SMOOTH FINISH – UNDERCOAT APPLICATION:Â Apply Royale Wall Basecoat diluted with water upto 50% – 60% with Brush/Roller and wait for 6 – 8 hours to dry, for recoating.
Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320 and wipe clean.
Step 7 – INCASE OF GRAIN(DANA) FINISH: This step involves application of 2-coats of Royale Lustre at supplied viscosity without any dilution at an interval of 3-4 hours between coats with Brush/Roller. Wait for 4 – 6 hours to dry.
STEP 7 – INCASE OF SMOOTH FINISH:Â This step involves application of 2-coats of Royale Lustre with dilution upto 20% – 30% at an interval of 4 hours between coats with Brush/Roller. Wait for 4 hours to dry.
DRYING TIME – Surface Drying Time is 30 minutes; Hard Drying Time is 4 – 6 hours.
COVERAGE – 86 – 108 sq.ft/litre/2-coats.
TOOLS – Brush / Roller / Spray, Putty Knife, Sanding Paper 180 and 320.
PRECAUTIONS:-
*Do not apply when ambient temperature is less than 10°C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hrs of application.
*Do not over-thin or over-extend the brush.
*Tint using Asian Paints machine colourants only.
*Stir well and strain before use.
*Tinted paints need thorough shaking immediately after tinter addition as well as before use.
