APPLICATION PROCEDURE: –

1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.

2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 7-STEPS: –

Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 2 – Priming the surface with Asian Paints Wall Primer with dilution using MTO in the ratio of 8% to 10%. Recoating period is 6-8 hours. 

Step 3 – This step involves application of Acrylic Wall Putty with dilution as required. Recoating period is 4-6 hours.

Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 5 – Priming the surface with Asian Paints Wall Primer with dilution using MTO in the ratio of 8% to 10%. Recoating period is 6-8 hours.

Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320 and wipe clean.

Step 7 – This step involves application of 2-coats of Interior Wall Finish – LUSTRE at an interval of 8 hours between coats. It can be diluted with MTO up to 7-9% for application using Brush/Roller. For Spray application, it can be diluted with MTO up to 19-21%.

DRYING TIME – Surface Drying Time is 2-3 hours. Hard Drying Time is 8 hours.

COVERAGE – 75 – 95 sq. ft/litre/2-coats.

TOOLS – Brush / Roller / Spray, Putty Knife, Sanding Paper 180, Sanding Paper 360.

PRECAUTIONS: –

*Do not apply when ambient temperature is less than 10°C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hrs of application.

*Do not over-thin or over-extend the brush.

*Tint using Asian Paints machine colourants only.

*Stir well and strain before use.

*Tinted paints need thorough shaking immediately after tinter addition as well as before use.

*The product is flammable so take adequate safety measures.

Note: – Interior Wall Finish – Lustre should not be applied on surfaces/substrates that are subjected to continuous seepage or dampness.
