- Flame Spread Resistance: PROTECTS YOU –Â Incase of fire inside the house, the paint on the wall will resist the spread of flame. Tested for BS 476 (Parts 6 and 7) and EN 13823 at Warrington UK and has been awarded for best performance.
- Â Advanced Stain Guard: PROTECTS LIFE OF PAINT – The paint has advanced stain guard which enables
stains to be cleaned easily. Apcolite All Protek provides best stain resistance in the range. - Lotus Effect: PROTECTS BEAUTY OF WALL – The paint has water beading technology, which is like water on lotus leaves. This ensures that water based stains do not stick easily to the surface of the paint.
- Fragrance: GIVES PLEASANT SMELL DURING PAINTING – Has a refreshing fragrance that gives a pleasant smell during painting and reduces discomfort from paint smell.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: –
1. PRE-PAINTING STEPS FOR SURFACE – Plaster, Cleaning, Filling of Cracks and Filling for Holes & Dents.
2. APPLICATION PROCESS – THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVES 7-STEPS: –
Step 1 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.
Step 2 – Priming the surface with Decoprime Cement Primer (WT) by Brush + Roller with dilution up to 50% to 60% by water. Re-coating period is 4-6 hours.
Step 3 – This step involves application of Acrylic Wall Putty using putty knife with dilution as per the requirement. Recoating period is 4-6 hours.
Step 4 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe clean.
Step 5 – Priming the surface with Decoprime Cement Primer (WT) by Brush + Roller with dilution up to 50% to 60% by water. Re-coating period is 4-6 hours.
Step 6 – Sanding – Sand the surface with sand paper 320 and wipe clean.
Step 7 – This step involves application of 2-coats of Apcolite All Protek at an interval of 4 hours between coats. It can be diluted with water up to 30%-40% for application using Brush/Roller. For Spray application, it can be diluted with water up to 20%.
DRYING TIME –Â Surface Drying Time is 30 minutes.
COVERAGE – 130 – 140 sq. ft/litre/2-coats.
TOOLS – Brush / Roller / Spray, Putty Knife, Sanding Paper 180 and 320.
